Odisha further strengthened its claim as a global destination of hockey and the sports capital of India with the launching of the state-of-the-art Naval Tata Hockey Academy, Odisha at the iconic Kalinga Stadium here today.
A joint initiative of Tata Steel, Tata Trusts and Government of Odisha, NTHA Odisha came as the state’s another major contribution to hockey, following the hosting of several international events, including 2018 Men’s World Cup, sponsoring National hockey teams for five years and setting up a hockey stadium with two synthetic turfs.
